Tada App Review

Tada (formerly ShopAtHome) is an app that claims to earn rewards for making purchases and scanning receipts.

But is it legal or is it a scam? This is a big problem, so let me fix it now.

Yes, Tada is a legal application. Earn rewards when you shop. But is it worth it? Well, I recently tested it to see if it’s worth using. I will share everything I learned in this Tada app review.

That way you know exactly what to expect before you use it. Let’s take a closer look at Tada.

What is Tada?

Tada is a cashback platform where you can earn rewards through cashback rewards. It used to be called ShopAtHome, but after the name change, the platform is completely different.

Also, search for Tada in the App Store to find other apps with the same name.

This app is actually a transportation app used by people in Singapore. So make sure you download the right app (I’ll add a link to the app later).

In order to fully understand the functionality of this app, we now need to look at the earning opportunities it offers. Here’s how to make money for free.

Option 1 – Exchange Offer

One way to earn Tada rewards is through cashback offers. As a Tada member, you can access cashback offers in two ways.

You can access the app or use the browser extension.
When using Tada cashback offers, keep in mind that you have to go through the platform to access the offer. It can also be bought online.

After setting up the extension, open any online store. If this store is connected to Tada, you will see a browser extension notification. Look, a browser extension can now detect if a store has a cashback offer running on Tada.

So you don’t have to log into the platform and search the shop for cashback offers. Extensions do that. On the other hand, when using the app or web platform, you need to click on a link in the app or on the Tada website to access the online store and make purchases.

However, when I tried Tada, I noticed a lot of cashback offers. However, when I clicked on some of them, the offers were not available. This is especially true for cashback offers that offer very high cashback rewards.

I know it’s a bit scary but I don’t know if it’s just a bug or a bug or if Tada was just trying to get people to sign up. It certainly makes the user experience a little worse.

Option 2 – Scan your receipt

Another way to get a gift from Tada is to scan your receipt. So, not only can you make money with Tada when you shop online, but you can also earn rewards when you shop in a physical store.

For example, if you shop at one of our partner stores, you can upload your receipt to receive cashback.
Immediately after uploading the receipt, Tada can identify items that offer cashback benefits. You will soon know how much you can earn. However, it is also likely that Tada does not recognize some of the items you put on your virtual shopping list for various reasons.

The good thing is that the app will notify you if the object is not recognized. In such cases, you can request a review. Tada checks the photo on the receipt to verify the item. This process can take up to 10 business days.

If all items on your shopping list are approved, you will receive the Cash Back shown. It usually takes up to 3 business days for the earnings to be credited to your Tada Account balance.

The most important thing to remember when scanning receipts is to make sure the photo of the receipt you take is clear and all items are legible. Be sure to include the store name, date of purchase, and other relevant information.

How will I be paid?

All prizes that Tada wins are stored in your Tada account balance.

Looking at their website, they say you can withdraw money via PayPal or gift card. Technically, you can actually withdraw money through PayPal, so this statement is true, not as expected.

Since Tada is actually produced by the same company that makes the Swagbucks cash app, your earnings on Tada are actually converted into Swagbucks points, which you can redeem for various gift cards or withdraw with PayPal.

The threshold required to redeem a reward is $5, which seems relatively low to me. However, this does not mean that you can immediately withdraw your winnings.

How much money can you earn?

The amount you can earn on a cashback site/app depends primarily on how often you make purchases and the cash back percentage rate on the site or app. You control the frequency of purchases, but not Tada’s refund rate.

Also, when I tried Tada, I saw that their refund rate was between 4% and 10%, which I don’t think is a bad thing. But it’s not that great either. As for the rewards you can get from scanning your receipts, you usually only get $0.02 for each item on the receipt, which is a very low reward.

So if you don’t buy in bulk from partner stores, it will take a long time to reach the lower payment threshold.

We offer ways to increase your income, mainly through the membership bonuses offered. However, you must earn a certain number of cash back rewards within a certain period of time to receive this bonus. They say you can earn up to $20 in signup bonuses. However, as mentioned above, you need to meet certain requirements to get this bonus.

For example, if you upload your first 3 receipts within 30 days of signing up for Tada, you can earn up to $9 in total. Also, to take advantage of the above bonuses, you must request an offer equal to a cashback of $0.02 or more.

Can I use it on my phone?

As explained above, Tada is actually a cross-platform cashback app. You can use browser extensions, web-based member panel and mobile apps to take advantage of the earning opportunities it offers.
However, this section will focus on mobile apps that can be downloaded from the Android and iOS app stores. Relatively easy to use. The user interface is designed to be clean and intuitive, so you won’t have any trouble navigating it.

You will not find any popup ads while using the app. This is a good thing, as it can be quite annoying to deal with pop-up ads all the time.

Who can participate in Tada?

Tada does not specify in which countries it is available. But from what I observed, most of the partner stores listed are in the United States. However, if you want to check if Tada is available in your country, please search the app store.

If it is included in the search results, it is available in your country.
This is possible because Tada is actually made by the same company that created Swagbucks and MyPoints and is designed to work with other platforms. After completing the registration form, you can go to the site or app and start earning.

You can help?

If you have questions about your site or account, first check the FAQ page accessible from the website or app. The FAQ page covers some important topics that you should know about.

If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, you can submit a support ticket through our Customer Support page, also accessible through the app and website. Overall I’d say Tada has a decent support system. Because it’s easy to contact our support team.

However, from what I have observed, the information provided is quite out of date, so it would be good if the FAQ page contains the latest information.
