If you’re looking for a paid survey site that pays cash, you might come across Eureka Surveys.
But are Eureka surveys legal and can you really make money as a member?
I’ve decided to test it out and compare it to hundreds of other paid survey sites I’ve tested. And we quickly determine that this is an official site that actually pays.
But that doesn’t mean it’s the right survey site for you. There are some details you should consider to find out.
And this Eureka Survey review looks inside and shows you how it works and what it has to offer, so it’s easy to know if you should sign up.
What is Eureka Survey and what does it offer?
Eureka Surveys started out as a survey app but recently launched a website so members can take surveys on most devices (more on that later).
And let’s make it clear right away that Eureka Surveys is definitely a legitimate survey site. As you can see in the video below, I got paid.
However, this does not mean that it will be the right site to register. So let’s dig deep so you know exactly what to expect and how it works.

Option 1 – Paid surveys
Surprisingly, the main way Eureka Surveys make money is by not participating in surveys.
Once logged in, you can immediately see which surveys are available and how much you can earn with the surveys.
As you can see in the image above, you can also see the approximate duration of each survey.
Costs vary from survey to survey, but generally benefit survey sites. You are also guaranteed to earn at least $1 on your first survey after signing up.
In my experience the timings are pretty accurate, and the rewards you get per survey are pretty decent compared to many other survey sites.
And almost every day, you’ll find dozens of surveys available here, but you’ll find more from Monday to Friday.
Like most survey sites, not all surveys are available. However, they have a fairly high level of qualification, so it doesn’t take as much patience to qualify like other survey sites.
Option 2 – Daily survey
You can also access daily surveys at Eurekasurveys.com.
This is a very short question and you can see an example in the image below.
You only have one second to reply and receive 1 cent.
Therefore, you should only spend a second, even if the reward is not very big. So if you decide to become a member I think it’s worth doing your daily research.
Plus, as soon as you reply, you’ll see a preview of other members’ responses. That’s very interesting.
As the name suggests, this poll can be done every day and there is a new poll every day.
Option 3 – Membership Bonus
Earning your first $1 is very easy when you sign up for Eureka Surveys.
Just complete a short welcome survey such as a tutorial and your account will be instantly credited with $1.
It only takes a few minutes at most to complete this welcome survey and earn $1 instantly is a great start and can bring you closer to the payout threshold which we’ll cover next.
How will I be paid?
As you can see, Eureka Surveys is very easy to use and offers great survey opportunities.
But before you can decide if this is the right site for you, you obviously need to know how to get paid.
You will be paid cash for each completed survey and will be able to see the earnings in your account immediately after completing the survey.
After winning $10, you can redeem your winnings via PayPal.
As long as you do everything honestly, you can expect a speedy refund. I thought it was really cool.
Some sites ask you to wait days (or even weeks) to get your money back, but luckily that’s not the case with Eureka Surveys.
At the time of writing this review, PayPal is the only way to accept payments. However, when I spoke to their support, I was told that they would soon introduce gift cards as gifts too. There are also options in the rewards section, but no gift cards are available yet.
Overall, I find Eureka Surveys’ payment methods and payment terms very good and help survey sites earn the income they deserve.
How much money can you make?
Eureka Surveys offers a large number of surveys and we pay a reasonable amount for these surveys compared to other sites.
So sharing your opinion can definitely be a great way to make some extra cash.
But if you’re looking for a way to make a living online, this isn’t the right choice. In fact, paid surveys are generally not a good option if you want to make a living online.
It can earn you extra cash, it can be fun, and your opinion will be heard, but you have to do it with the right expectations.
Can I use it with my phone?
As mentioned above, Eureka Survey started as a survey app. It started out as an iOS app, but has grown and now has an Android app (and website) too.
Then you can download the Eureka Surveys app from the App Store and Google Play. As you know, you can also take surveys on their website.
A little tip if you download the app is to enable location. This will give you access to more missions.
In addition, by enabling notifications, you will be notified when new high-priced surveys are available and each survey usually has the maximum required number of participants, so you can participate in surveys before they run out.
Who can participate in the Eureka survey?
It is not clear who can participate on the first visit to the Eureka Survey website.
However, this is only available if you live in the United States. However, if you live in the US, don’t forget to check out the best survey sites in the US too, Eureka itself doesn’t offer many opportunities to make money.
I was told that at some point I could also open it in the UK. However, at the time of writing this review, it is only available if you live in the US and have lived there for years, so I’m not sure it will ever happen.
Can I get help?
In my opinion, getting help is important for any survey site. If you’re having problems with your account, help is available.
Fortunately, as a member of the Eureka survey, you have support.
You should send an email to support@eurekasurveys.com.
Their goal is to respond within 2 days, but I have contacted several times and in my experience, often get a faster response.
So the support has to be really good and that’s a big plus.
