Originally called Prolific Academic, many people still refer to it. However, I found the name a bit long and inconvenient, so I changed it to “productive”. This is the official name of the current platform.
However, if you hear or read the name Prolific Academic, the platform is the same as Prolific, but some people don’t know that the name has changed (although it changed in 2015).

You can decide for yourself the first study option. For example, you can select participants based on age, gender, nationality, language, etc.
If you host your survey on another system such as Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey, enter the URL and Prolific will recruit participants.
Join Prolific for free. However, of course, as a researcher, you will have to pay a participation fee + operating costs to Prolific.
The exact compensation you pay to your contributors is up to you, but Prolific recommends a minimum of $6.50 per hour.
Also, the higher the reward, the easier it is to recruit participants. This is my experience after conducting thousands of paid surveys on PaidFromSurveys.com and receiving feedback from many visitors.
How will they pay me?
Participants can receive payment through PayPal.
Personally, I like PayPal’s paid survey site. The reason is that it is an easy way to get rewards and you can get them in cash. But if it’s not your method of choice, it’s not the best site.
After winning £5 / $7, you are ready to claim your payout. However, there is a small fee for this. If you are expecting a reward of £20/$28, you can pay less.
After the fourth withdrawal, it will automatically switch to immediate withdrawal. Then the money will be transferred to your account.
How much money can you make with Prolific?
Winning is a great way to earn extra cash. However, if your main goal is to make as much money as possible from surveys, then Prolific might not be the site for you.
In my experience, all research is interesting and relevant, and doing research makes a difference. And if you want to do productive research, that should be part of your motivation.
As a crowdsourcing platform, we generally do not offer surveys. I haven’t had it for a month. But it really depends on the country you live in and your profile.
Some people are interviewed fairly regularly.
In general, this can be a way to earn a little more money, but you may have to wait a long time to get enough surveys to reach $28.
Personally, I am happy to be a member of Prolific. First, because it helps researchers find answers. It is like another platform for me. I am a member of many other survey sites where daily surveys are offered so that I can earn more money.
Can I use it on my mobile device?

Being able to answer surveys on your mobile device is very convenient because you can take surveys at any time according to your schedule without having to be in front of a computer.
Some surveys have limited space, so being able to answer surveys quickly is great.
Fortunately, Prolific is available on mobile devices. This platform has no applications. This is a bit odd as it is often considered a productive application when posting on social media and websites.
However, we have a mobile-friendly website, so you can access it simply by opening it in your mobile web browser or by clicking on the link in the invitation email.
I take quizzes on my smartphone, but the options are easy to view and take quizzes, so if you want to be able to take quizzes on the go, I recommend this option.
Who can participate?
The production survey is open to approximately 33 countries. It will eventually roll out globally, so if you are thinking of signing up I suggest you check if it is available in your country.
You will need to verify your email address and phone number or Facebook account to log in.
Verification is needed to ensure that only real people are present and it is understandable that they would want to be confirmed.
Verifying the phone is very easy and that’s when I signed up for the first time. Provide survey sites with your phone number only if you believe the site is legitimate.
I soon realized that Prolific was not a scam. Simply enter your phone number and within seconds you will receive an SMS with a code to use.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Prolific.
Can I get help or feedback?

I don’t know when I’ll be back because I haven’t had to contact support in person.
